Tuition at LCS
Understanding Cost, Finding Support, and Investing in the Right Choice
You’ve pictured the kind of school you want for your child. Maybe it looks like a teacher kneeling beside their desk during a hard math day. Maybe it sounds like students singing in chapel, or feels like a Christ-focused community where everyone is included.
At some point, that vision meets the question every parent has to ask: Can we afford this?
At Longmont Christian School, we understand how personal that question feels. That’s why we’ve made our tuition process open, flexible, and rooted in real partnership. From variable tuition to sibling discounts and monthly payment plans, we’re here to help families find a path that works.

Tuition Assistance & Scholarships
Tuition Assistance & ScholarshipsLongmont Christian School offers need-based tuition assistance to help families afford a Christ-centered education. Assistance is awarded annually based on demonstrated financial need and available funds and typically covers a portion of tuition. Award amounts vary, with school-funded assistance available up to a maximum of $4,000 per student, depending on need and other considerations.
Applications are completed through FACTS Grant & Aid, a secure third-party system. For questions or help with the application process, please contact the school office at office@longmontchristian.org.
ACE Scholarships
As an ACE Scholarship partner school, we can help qualifying families apply for external scholarships based on income. ACE is a nonprofit that helps students access private education through additional funding.
Colorado Child Care Assistance Program & UPK
Preschool families may also qualify for assistance through CCCAP. This state-funded program helps cover the cost of early childhood education based on household income.
We are also accepting UPK next year: 2026-2027!
Discounts and Referral Credits
Families with more than one child enrolled receive a 10 percent discount, as do families with an active duty military parent and those with parents who are full-time pastors. Current school families who refer a new student may receive tuition credit for that school year once enrollment is confirmed.
Payment Plans
We offer both 10-month (August to May) and 12-month (August to July) plans to help spread out payments. Just let our office know what works best for your family.

Tuition Questions We Hear Most Often
Yes. Many families are surprised by the results once they apply. The FACTS system reviews a wide range of financial factors, not just income, and your application stays completely confidential. We encourage families to apply if tuition feels out of reach.
Most classroom materials, curriculum, and technology are included in your tuition. You may see occasional fees for field trips, clubs, or special events, but we aim to keep these low and clearly communicated. If you ever have questions, our team will help you plan ahead.
Tuition agreements are sent out each July. They include your full payment schedule for the upcoming school year. We recommend saving a copy for your records, and we’re always happy to resend it if needed.
FACTS automatically applies a $40 missed payment fee. If help is needed with the fees, please reach out to our Business Office.
Tuition is calculated as a yearly total and then divided into equal monthly payments. It’s not based on a daily rate, so even months with breaks (like Spring Break and Christmas) will have the same tuition amount.
Yes. We offer variable tuition for preschool families, but we encourage you to check your eligibility for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program, Colorado’s state childcare subsidy program. Our staff can help you navigate that process.
