Curriculum

Creative Curriculum

We use the Creative Curriculum, a research-based, play-centered approach that helps children learn through exploration, hands-on activities, and meaningful experiences. Teachers thoughtfully design lessons around children’s interests while supporting key areas of development, including language, early math, social-emotional skills, and problem-solving. This approach encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and supports each child’s growth at their own pace.

Conscious Discipline

We use Conscious Discipline, developed by Dr. Becky Bailey, to guide how we support children’s social and emotional growth. This approach teaches children how to understand their feelings, build self-regulation skills, and develop strong, respectful relationships. Through consistent routines and caring adult guidance, children learn how to manage emotions, solve problems, and feel safe and connected in the classroom.

Teaching Strategies

We use Teaching Strategies GOLD as an ongoing assessment tool to thoughtfully track each child’s growth and development. Through observation and documentation during everyday activities, teachers gain a clear understanding of each child’s strengths, interests, and areas for support. This allows us to individualize instruction, set meaningful goals, and partner with families to support each child’s progress.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Chapel

Children gather weekly to worship, hear God’s word, and learn biblical truths and guidance for living Christian lives.

Community Service

We participate in service projects three times each year, giving children opportunities to care for others and make a difference. As God’s servants, we seek to love and serve those around us through these acts of kindness.

Farm to ECE

Our gardening and nutrition program connects children to where their food comes from through hands-on gardening, cooking, and exploration. These experiences help build healthy habits, curiosity, and an appreciation for the natural world.
