Why Families Choose LCP

Families often arrive at our doors with one simple hope: to find a school that sees their child clearly. At Longmont Christian School, they find:

  • Experienced, dedicated teachers. On average, our faculty have 15 years of classroom experience and bring both skill and heart to their work with students.
  • Certified learning support. Our Resource Department includes two licensed special education teachers with backgrounds in public and private education. One has specific expertise in autism and dyslexia support.
  • Comprehensive student care. A full-time, professionally trained counselor provides individual support and guidance throughout the school year.
  • Expansive electives. Students can explore over 10 electives, including STEM, performing arts, outdoor education, and hands-on enrichment.
  • Faith-infused learning. Biblical truth is part of every subject, not just Bible class. Daily prayer, chapel, and discipleship shape a strong foundation.
  • A campus built for exploration. With 8 acres to learn and play, students spend time in gardens, creative spaces, and soon a sensory courtyard.
  • A culture of connection. Small class sizes foster trust, and families often say their children feel noticed, encouraged, and safe.
  • Homeschool Enrichment Program. At LCS we will partner with you as a homeschool parent to provide enrichment or core classes you need for your child.  Whether you’re interested in clubs and electives, corporate worship in chapel and Bible class, math class or all of the above, reach out to us to create your plan.

“Longmont Christian School creates a warm, faith-filled environment where kids feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Our daughter grew so much in her knowledge and understanding of the Bible, and she would come home from kindergarten with fun stories and personalized gifts regularly. We’re so thankful for Mrs. Deaver and all the staff at LCS!”

– Jillian Wilson, LCS parent
