I was born in Ohio and moved to Longmont as a teenager.  I attended Colorado State University and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  Later I went back to school to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.  I’ve worked in various management roles over the years in multiple companies and industries.  I spent 11 years working for Hewlett Packard, first in Fort Collins, and then in Singapore.  While in Singapore, I served on the Board of Directors for International Community School, a K-12 international school.  We then sensed the Lord’s call to move to Indonesia, where I worked managing the supply chain for a large coffee company.  God worked in many relationships while we lived in Jakarta and allowed our family to serve in multiple ways.  Two years ago, after 8.5 years overseas, our family moved back to Longmont where I currently work for West Corporation as a Customer Team Director.

My wife Sara and I attended Christian Schools during most of our K-12 education and believe very strongly in the value of a Christian education.  Our two children (Amanda age 17 and Nathan age 15) have attended Longmont Christian School during the past 2 years, and as a result I wanted to serve on the board.  I believe that our children thrive best in an environment that encourages and leads them spiritually.  Christian schools help to reinforce the lessons that we parents teach our children at home.  I resonate with our school’s vision for excellence in academics, service and Biblical truth and want to be part of leading our school towards its achievement.
